Mariane Marjaba

Biography

Mariane is the co-founder of Tennis Lab Academy, established in 2019. With over a decade of experience in coaching tennis, she is passionate about combining her love for sports and working with children to create a lasting impact.

Mariane’s academic journey reflects her commitment to the transformative power of sports. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a Master’s in Sports Management from the University of Bordeaux, where she is also pursuing her PhD. Her doctoral research focuses on the role of sports in overcoming war-related traumas and building resilience in children aged 6 to 16.

During her Master’s program, Mariane explored the role of sports and play for refugee children living in camps. She presented this research at a conference in Bordeaux, further showcasing her expertise in this field.

Certified by the Tennis Federation (Play and Stay), Mariane brings her experience to Tennis Lab Academy, where children learn tennis and develop essential life skills like discipline, respect, time management, and teamwork. She firmly believes in the power of sports to improve mental and physical well-being and sees it as a tool for societal change.

Outside of her work, Mariane enjoys reading, traveling, and engaging in sports, continuously enriching her knowledge and passion for life.
